The combination of red, white and blue is constantly seen at the SS 10 shows (SS10 = Spring Summer 2010). The tricolour makes me think of warm and light-hearted things. Like French school girls on a summer break or sailors from old comic books.
Now the weather is colder, but there's no reasons to give up preppy colour combinations. The cold weather lasts way too long to dwell in black and grey tones!
The perfect way to introduce tricolour to your wardrobe is to invest in a great coats in red or blue. Pair the coat with crisp white tights and patent boots. Finish off the look with a classic beret!
